I saw this on Twitter last night:
Although this has been documented for over a year, just not with many eyes on it at the time: https://www.reddit.com/r/lostmedia/comments/q6trbn/foodfight_video_game/
It seems like Foodfight, a CG animated film which suffered many delays and production issues, was going to have a tie-in game for GameCube, Gameboy Advance, PlayStation 2 and other platforms.
The console version can very clearly be seen showcased at E3 2006, although only an 8-second clip is available.
You can see logos for Global Star Software (likely the publisher) and Vicious Cycle Software (developer) on the promotional poster above, the latter having experience in making licensed games for the former.
A Redditor by the name of TheRealMegaMitch from the linked thread got into contact with someone who worked at Vicious Cycle back in 2006 named David Ellis, although he concluded that they had never worked on a Foodfight game after consulting with the company's owner and CEO Eric Peterson (They apparently stopped working with Global Star at that time).
I'm really stunted on what exactly this is then, if a company with their own logo in the promotional material actually had nothing to do with it, what are we even seeing?
The same redditor before brought up the possibility of this being a hoax, but I don't think footage like this could've been doctored, and for such a random subject matter too, it just doesn't add up to me, but neither do this case's finer details, it's so peculiar...
Minor update: I wanted to note a reply to the Twitter post from @cyborc4, who added that what can be seen of the gameplay is rather reminiscent of Monkey Bar Games' (a division of Vicious Cycle) Flushed Away tie-in, right down to a similar UI and camera angle, maybe implying that it would've ran on Vicious Cycle's own engine, the Vicious Engine, or that it might've even been repurposed as the Flushed Away game after its cancellation, although this is all purely speculation and the whole deal with Vicious Cycle supposedly having nothing to do with it throws a bit of a monkey wrench into things.
