I recently contacted the owner of the Meta Naito website and he just responed saying,
"I decided to go ahead and keep the site alive for another year or so as I need it for my resume as I am in the tech field and just barely graduating. So it will be back. Also someone has offered to host the site and take it over, so that might end up happening over the course of the next year. We will see."
This brings new hope that the website will stay alive!
Thanks for letting us know orphanedpixel! I'll do my best to back up whatever I can to prevent the site from getting lost. I hate to see a website lost to time and this is the first time I'm helping to archive a site. I'm looking at the site right now and have found that the fan art sections are inaccessible. Hopefully we can all work together to save the site from being lost to time.
A lot of the pages 404'd. I can get in contact with several admins via e-mail. I'll see if I can get them to restore the pages. Thanks for the help!
dogpolygonrt66 (quotes don't work properly on mobile): I know about this, but it's a large website so I need help archiving the site before it's too late.

I recently found this Kirby fansite called Meta Naito. I took a look at it and found that it's closing down for good on December 31st, which means we don't have much time!
Please help archive the site before it becomes lost forever!

In August I downloaded and played a GBA homebrew game called Mooncat's Trio (very fun game, might I add). I deleted it a while ago and decided to try it again today, but the website link is dead. The thread where it was announced was on GBAtemp and the latest Wayback Machine archive doesn't have the ROM file. Where should I look for it?
If the site started in 1999 but Archive.org only indexed it from 2009, then the site most likely wasn't under the same URL. Dig through the earliest posts to see if there are references to older versions. Or, just ask the owner.Sounds good.
it goes more than "sketchy" full on drug market illegal gun sales live torture (rumor but a reliable source has vouched for it) oh yeah and I heard browsing it is illegal
any info you need to obtain I suggest you search for in those involved with it or get an invite to my spleen a lot of stuff has been found there if its tv for instance contact its company or its producers

I recently stumbled upon a fansite and forum that was pretty much abandoned (though some people still post there every once in a while) called Kirby's Rainbow Resort.
I took a look at it through the Wayback Machine to see what it looked like in previous years and I discovered that the website was founded in 1999, but the Wayback Machine only has archives dating back to 2009.
This once prominent Kirby fansite is a huge part of internet history and we cannot let its early years remain lost!
