Does it actually "play" the message or did someone's mind play tricks on them? May be related to the phenomenon where people hear music, speech, etc. from white noise machines or fans going.

I just found a TVTropes entry (entry is here: tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Webcomic/Smaaaash) that states that the comic was discontinued after June 21, 2013 (2013-06-21). This should help us narrow down the dates a bit.
Seems interesting. Where'd you get these ISBN numbers (me probably being an idiot) and how to we look up the books with them?
I got the ISBN numbers for everything besides #128 from amazon. #128 I found at the Book Depository, which used to have unpublished Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew books listed on it's website. (It doesn't anymore, but I had saved the ISBN when I found it a couple of years ago)
How to finding ISBN numbers is where things get complicated. Check out post #8 of this thread: www.hardyboyscasefiles.com/forums/index.php?topic=1969.0 for a possible method. I've tried doing this with the Files books, but the ISBNs are a bit more random then the Casefile ISBNs he used it on. There's also a two or three book gap in the numbers. I'm hoping someone might have better luck then me. There might be other ways too, but I'm not an ISBN expert.

I recently found out about an old webcomic called SMAAAASH!! (from Kontek, Old URL of SMAAAASH!!) and I decided to take a look at it. Unfortunately, the link only led me to ads that probably had viruses on them (these jackasses probably took over after the website died). Luckily the Wayback Machine exists, so I looked there. A lot of the comics were there, but not all of them. I found the author's website (SMAAAASH!! Archive) which had issues 1-97 on it, but nothing after that. In a bit, I'll make a spreadsheet that shows which comics are lost and which have been found, but I do know that Issue #98 is lost.

I'm just waiting for some collector to buy a standard gold Minish Cap SP never opened, make an unboxing video, find one of the slips to redeem the 24K SP, and wonder what the heck to do with it now.
