I cannot confirm the others (haven’t studied the credits) – although I am acutely aware of Carlo (actor Carlo D'Amore), Carl (director) and Joan Jett Blakk, even though I had no scenes with her. I don’t know if Carlo had more of a role in the development of the story. You’ll have to ask him. He lives and works in New York City.
I promised to send you a copy of the film but, after careful review, I do not own the rights to the film and cannot do so. I signed a contract as well. You’ll have to reach out to the producer and director. They own the film. I am very sorry.
No problem at all, actually thank you very much for this piece of information. Is there any means of contacting this people that you can provide us? Like an email or something like that?
Hello everyone! I felt I had to respond. This is Rik (credited in the film as Rikaard Dam Olafsson). I was a stage actor in San Francisco in the late 1980s and early 90s. I worked under my legal name, Richard Damon Olson, and worked for a few years as an actor/model/singer before leaving SF for good in the late 1990s. I met Carlo (Carlo D'Amore) while doing a play at the Alcazar Theatre in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District. We became fast friends and he recommended me for this film. I met later with Carl (Carl Forest Sandler, the director) and was eventually cast as “the boy who learns he is HIV+.”
“Talking About the Weather” was a good film. I loved making it. This film was my last “gig" tho - I ended up going back to school and studying biology and chemistry (I had an earlier degree in literature and theatre arts). I finished my doctorate and work today as a pharmacist. I have a YouTube channel, “Rik is Major Drama”, where I showcase some of my music and other interests.
And yes, Joan Jett was erroneously credited – it should instead be Joan Jett Blakk, a drag artist.
Thank you for your interest in this film. – rik d. olson
Thank you very much for responding us! This Carlo person, was he involved with the development of the film? Also, I'd like you to confirm if we got the crew roles correctly?

I tried to find a way to contact any of the other people involved in the game's development, but it seems that the only one with presence on the web is Osamu Sato, so I decided to send an e-mail to Asmik Ace directly, though I don't think it'll be a different story than Sato's Facebook, but I may as well try, just to exhaust all options
Ok so I cannot watch any video because, according to this thing, I don't have Java, which are lies because my Java is updated. I'll try to update it AGAIN to see if it works now
I just updated my Java and still doesn't work, so I guess it's up to you to watch those, sorry

I see, do you want me to try it out? I believe I have an account, I just need to remember the username and the password
Sure!
Ok I searched for "lsd" and now I got a lot of results, however all the titles are in japanese, so I guess we'll have to watch them one by one. Since these are TV Spots we're talking about we shouldn't be looking for videos longer than, let's say 1:30 minutes?
I guess it makes sense, though the navigation must be difficult, since it's a japanese website, and my japanese is limited to "kawaii", "desu", "ie", "baka" and "doragon boru"
Did you know they have an English version now? Because they do.
We should try looking on NicoNicoDouga (a Japanese video hosting service) since the game was exclusive to Japan.

Hey there, beforehand thank you for reading this LONG post. Today I'm going to talk about a very obscure topic: LSD Dream Emulator
Before I get to the point, just a quick introduction: LSD Dream Emulator is a Japan-exclusive PlayStation game released on October 22, 1998, and August 11, 2010 on the japanese PlayStation Store as a PSOne Classic. The game is based on a dream journal called Lovely Sweet Dream (that's what "LSD" stands for, not that "other" thing you were thinking), writen by Hiroko Nishikawa, a staff member at Asmik Ace Entertainment (currently known as Asmik Ace Inc.), company which creation was the result of the mergin of two japanese companies: Asmik Corporation and Ace Entertainment. As for the game itself, there's no real plot, the concept is that you're some dude who's a lucid dreamer (if you don't know what that is, basically is when you're dreaming and you're aware that you're dreaming, so you can go nuts and control everything like a god), and we have to explore his dreams during 365 days. This game is extremely bizarre, with weird imagery, trippy colors and an eerie atmosphere. Here's a little gameplay for reference:
With that out of the way, let's get to the point:
I was checking out the LSD wiki a few months ago (I'm a huge cult follower of this game), and I stumbled on an article which talks about some old TV Spots made as commercials for the game, however, even though the article says that a "small number" of TV Spots exists, only one is featured on the article. I left a comment on the article asking about the rest of them, but so far I've got no response (No surprised here, considering the obscure nature of the game). Then I went to YouTube to ask the uploader of the first TV Spot if he knew anything about it, turns out the guy who uploaded it was no other than Osamu Sato. Osamu Sato is an abstract artists, he made the visual design for the game, however, this channel seems to be inactive, since its last upload was 6 years ago. Then, I discovered that the same video was uploaded by another channel (with WAY lower video quality), and asked him if he knew if there were any other TV Spots besides this one, and he said that, as far as he knows, this is the only one, however that's just some dude who happened to have the video and uploaded it, I wanted a primary source, so I checked the Asmik Ace website, and of course, there's no mention of such an old, obscure game, so I used the Ol' Reliable way back machine, The farthest it goes is to December of 1998, and yes, LSD is mentioned there, however, no TV Spots, not even the one we already have, so I decided to dig a bit deeper.
After checking Osamu Sato's website (which was on his YouTube channel), I found his FaceBook, and, fortunately, he seems to speak english, and his account seems to be active (his last post was on June 24), so I decided to ask him if he happens to remember if there were more than one TV Spot, so far I've got no response. so, while I wait for him to respond (if he even sees my message) I decided to (hopefully) recruit some people to help me find this, so any help you guys give me will be appreciated
