since "Rintindumb" was found (thanks so much for that) I figured I'd throw this out there, the other shorts that aired in between cartoons, I believe these were from Teletoon, im pretty sure both of these are lost, but just thought I'd see what yall come up with, one was, I believe a cgi animated short about stupid pirates, they would sail the seas with their underwear mast and treated people's "underpants" like treasure, It was called something like "the pirates that steal your underpants", the other short I'm a little more interested to find, it starred two I believe animals of some kid (maybe dogs) but maybe not, who worked as firefighters, and would always fight over women and stuff like that, it really put off a tom and jerry (original black and white 1930s version) sort of vibe a tall guy and a short guy as firefighters who would always bicker and fight about things. these aired in around 2006 along side the Bernard bear shorts.
Does anyone remember the old Disney sponsored game "Hot Shot Bussinuss" it was one of the first online games I remember playing! it was very comic styled and you started your bussinuss you could chose from a skate shop, a comic shop, a pet store, a lawn care bussinuss, I believe there was a video store and something sci fi themed as well, possibly more, I believe it was even on a Disney website, possibly their main site but this was wayyy back in about 2005, since then game has moved to its own domain but only pet spa, skate shop, and comic shop are playable, the lawn care bussinuss (wich was me and my siblings personal fave) and the others are, to my knowledge completely lost, I don't know if theres anyway or anywhere to find the lost aspects of the game, but I thought it would be interesting to bring it up, a lost memory from my childhood:) im not sure if theres a thread on this already, sorry if there is. but heres the partial game: igrezadecu.com/hot-shot-business/
so, there's an online game I would like to find for the life of me I cant remember the name of it, I used to play it very much with my brothers around 2006 - 2008, the game was, I believe on freeonlinegames or something like that, but since all the sites we used to use changed dramatically I cant find it, it was a pretty popular game, it was a side scrolling fighting game with a little spikey haired red head dude with green eyes and what looked to be a white robe or something, I remember he was not a ninja, I just always think of him that way, I cant remember much from the enemies except that one was an alien of some sort that either shot green like poison at you or spilled green like poison when he was killed, it also was on a tropical setting of some sort with a boat in the background and sandy areas, there was a lot of dangerous traps and spikes it was pretty challenging, it might not be a lot to go on but does it job anyone's memory?
Update: there Is a demo tape release of radio chaos listed on discogs, that is the only thing about the band listed there. im not sure if anyone is selling it either
I think I might have found the second show! is it "Rintindumb"? www.youtube.com/watch?v=38NK1txAsHwOMG this is the show!!!! holy crap!!!! I was starting to think I dreamt the entire thing!!!!!
Some years back I remember hearing a song on the radio, it was catchy and retro just up my alley like the radio station in my town liked to play it was called
"Tell me your secrets" by Radio Chaos, I thought it was cool so I wrote it down in a list of songs to add my collection that I did at that time, just yesterday I came across the old list and realized that song was not crossed off, curious as to what it was I looked into it.. and HOLY CRAP. no wonder I couldn't find it to add to my collection, this band is pretty much non existent. upon searching what I found was a page that listed 29 second tracks of all the songs (including that one) on a compilation album called 'Rocktoria 3 (1991)' it was listed on a site called 'royal city music project'. curious as to what Rocktoria 3 was, I dug a bit deeper, apparently its an annual battle of bands like contest that a local radio station by the name of 'Q 100.3' in Victoria, bc, Canada puts onto a compilation disc, doing some more research they were still doing these well into the 2000s coming up with titles like 'Rocktoria 9' and 10. I even found a website listing them all and all their tracks aside from rocktoria 3.. the trail pretty much ends here, theres a bit more info on rocktoria the first one, and one of the artists 'Playground Hero' had a few songs of theirs uploaded to yt, but as for Radio chaos, and the other artists off the 'Rocktoria 3' wich include names like 'Purple City', 'Jho Nek Jhone', and 'Monica Schraefel' these artists are NO where to be found anywhere, its like they don't exist. no wiki, no artist webpage, no audio files on any free mp3 downloads place, nothing on youtube, nothing. this could be, the RAREST music I ever stumbled across!
appears im a little late to the fun, I agree with insulting iguana, his layout is pretty messy and its hard to sit through some of his videos, but hes a good guy, no need to go all crazy like that one guy did, he tries his best he just needs more practice is all, and as for that guy that went at him, and mentioned channel awesome "stars" like their humour or not, they put a shit ton of work into their videos nostalgia critic has over 300 episodes that's a lot work.
