For instance, the first 16 episodes were leaked in 2014; episode 12 was mysteriously missing. It's been revealed that it's legitimately lost and not just sitting in a vault.
As the end of the article states, these could always come up on home recording (obviously not episode 12), PBS, raw footage from the vaults (individual parts of lost episodes), dubs, libraries, estates and images.

We didn't consider Cracks "found" when Jon Armond acquired a copy and was showing people in private.
To echo Rex, we consider it lost until it's available to the public (since there's no doubt it always existed); this is about to be a very unique case as a hybrid public/private screening (since it's a one time thing with no pics/video allowed). There's a chance they don't show the entire episode as well -- we'll determine things when we get there, but if nothing leaks and they only show some of the episode then we'd probably consider it partially found; like I said, it'll resolve itself once we get there.
Anyway, it's awesome we'll have correspondents from both the LMW and Muppet Central who can tell us how it went (since most of us will likely remain in the dark on it). I wonder if they'll show any of the divorce episode since it isn't as alluring of a piece. Other oddities like Richard Hunt's Elmo would be cool as well.
I said this on the discord, but I'm surprised they're doing an event to cater to such a niche crowd... I guess they know we're out here.

A Muppet Wiki member suggests a page for content pulled from circulation (citing this upcoming "Lost & Found" event), and pretty much the head guy of Muppet Wiki says they'll probably have something up for 847 before then. My guess is we'll be getting screenshots of the street scenes by then.

A live event/presentation-type thing from the former head writer and VP specifically talking about 847 and the divorce episode (it sounds like showing footage as well). $15 if you live in the Queens (NYC) area.

This thing is on the cusp of being found (or at least being seen by people in person) within a year: hella episodes are being archived on Muppet Wiki, the whole Library of Congress thing, a box set of rare content is coming out next month and an event is being held at a center (I'm too lazy to specifically look up what it is) focused exclusively on showcasing rare/unaired/aired once SS content.
Sorry I sparked up the thread again, I just found some new info and wanted to post it on the thread anyway. I had no clue I would get this many replies.
No, that wasn't an issue at all; anytime someone finds a followup on this they should feel free to bump the thread. We should report on any findings, but not instigate. As you said, we're lost media hunters, not a criminal investigative team, lol.

I don't think any of us care about ADWSS anymore and even if we did I don't think there is literally anything to follow up with anymore. I was shocked RedRex4000 even found that little bit of new info. Back when we made this thread I think we were in a different place with ADWSS than we are now, so unfortunately this revival search is just something that never happened.
What if you knew Mr. Orange and Lorenzo were lying about the entire thing? Would that change your mind?
We could follow up, but I honestly think it's just best to leave this alone and let this sleeping dog lie.
Well this has certainly been an interesting search but after all this time I think the most that might ever be found is maybe an old script or more likely a criminal record of someone involved with the "project".
This is the end goal right here, lmao.

I believe I found the Wiki because I was looking for the Owen Hart video. I think I eventually visited it again for Cracks or 847. I kept seeing the article for ADWSS at the top of the page (I initially thought it was a softcore porno for some reason ) and was hooked.
Okay, this is hilarious: one guy crudely drew on a piece of paper and claimed it to be the first television broadcast ever; I don't think that's why he got banned, but I believe he continued with shenanigans like that.
There was a fairly popular user named ObscurusDoom who was banned... not sure why.
