The problem in the states is that the political system is quite literally binary. It's one team or the other and that has made politics more into a sport than a due process that keeps a nation working the way it should. Here in Canada, for instance, we still have a major liberal and conservative party, but you will also get seats every election from third parties representing a far more diverse variety of viewpoints. I'm particularly fond of our far left (ish) party, the NDP, which often wins a number of seats every election and keeps the more moderate leftists in check. It's the same across large swathes of Europe, too.
inb4 I get harangued by a bunch of Americans about how I'm "throwing my vote away" or some shit
My issue with American politics is a lot of it has turned into a popularity contest and everyone doing "gotcha" to the other party. It just makes a lot of the politicians feel more like celebrities or influencers trying to "ratio" each other instead of actually caring about helping people. I am sick of everyone hyperfocusing on "stopping woke" or "save the children" because they tend to just feel like someone who spends way too long on social media. I care about helping underfunded schools, affordable healthcare for all, improving the DMV, affordable college education, affordable housing... Yet it feels like politicians are just wasting their time banning websites they don't like, how does that help anyone?
Like I said, it's a sport, a caricature of the political process. We don't have anywhere near this degree of bullshit here in Canada, and what we do have is usually just hastily imported over from what is happening in the US. All our major political scandals are just lamer, shittier versions of things that happened before in America.
And if any American is gonna try and burgersplain to me as to why their system is the only way to fly I'm going to point out that we here are a full point ahead of all of you in the democracy index. America is not even considered a full democracy like we are.

I don't like politicians in general. I feel like elections end up me picking the candidate I hate the least.

Hard to say for me because as much as I hate Bubsy's games(aside from the mediocre recent entries) & the character, there WAS potential in there for him, but in the end was all ruined.
Another one would be the rest of the games from Sherwood Forest Software as not only is the main person behind the developer VERY problematic, but the games are awful. The ones made in RSD Game-Maker in particular are probably one of a few reasons why that MS-DOS game engine has the bad reputation it has now-in-days.
Hope I won't regret asking, but what's problematic about the developer? I looked up the company and can't find any info at all.
The people who ran it are, not the company itself.

Every time this thread gets made it trends towards the same toxic place and ends up counterintuitive to the impartial process of searching for lost media. I recommend the mods step in and close it down again before things get out of hand once more.

Not really, just in general there is so much media exclusive to just DVDs that aren't typically online special features and games that can only be accessed through certain copies. And with DVDs going the way of the dinosaur in the mainstream, it seems like we're a little at risk for some being lost to time.
So long as thrift stores exist, I doubt it.

Well to be fair, my account is pretty new, so I just figured that things would be a bit faster. Judging by your comment, I’m going to assume that there are usually like, 6-8 hour gaps between replies? I’m just curious. Forgive me for my ignorance, I don’t usually use forums.
Sometimes more, yeah.
