Hello, I wanted to call upon the help of any vintage music collectors/enthusiasts to help me find a song that's been on the back of my mind for weeks now.
I was listening to a youtubers personalized compilation of "The Rutles", the compilation was supposed to be a compilement of their parody album "Semi Automatic" featuring the few songs made for the album including some of Ollie Halsalls (one of the bands vocalists and guitarists) other works on Timebox. While I'm sure there are other tracks on here that may or may not be nameless, there is a song that plays from 22:07-24:57 and I had no clue where it came from. I asked the channel creator if they had remembered the name of the song (can be seen in the comments) and they responded that the song was called "Sometimes It Happens", a phrase repeated throughout the song, and had no remembrance of who wrote it/played it. I assumed like all other non-Rutle tracks in the album that this song was tied to Halsalls somehow but in all my searches across music archives and auctions I had not fond this song. I put it through music finders and came up with nothing, I assume it was made somewhere between 1965-1967 considering the other tracks history. I need to know if anyone recognizes or has any information about this song. Just being pointed in the right direction to collectors/archivists whom may have it is also greatly appreciated.

Interesting you talked about that, I saw the Carnival of Light theory in Blameitonjorge's video, I cant quite remember what member, but one of the beatles said he wanted to release the song.. However, he'd need all the members or their manager's approval, and that he doesnt have. They sang it twice over 2 days about 40-55 years ago, Im sure there's a recording somewhere.
The Kurt Kobain ren and stimpy song was debunked, I read it somewhere.
They considered it for inclusion in the Beatles Anthology album which was vetoed by Ringo, George and Yoko Ono, and I think later they tried to release it in the Sgt. Pepper re-release but decided against it because it didn't fit Sgt. Pepper.
Also, where did you read it? Was it a reliable source?
McCartney has stated in interviews that (cited on the Carnival of Light LMW page) that it was George Harrison that rejected it. With any Beatles product, any one CEO (then Paul, George, Ringo and Yoko) could block the release of anything. Even if it's a 3 to 1 vote. Harrison was also the one that voted against "Now and Then" being completed.
In 2017, it was left off the Sgt. Pepper Super Deluxe box set because producer Giles Martin felt it was part of Sgt. Pepper (he used the same logic for "It's Only A Northern Song"). If I was a betting man, I'd say we will hear the track. Peter Jackson was originally brought into Apple to discuss a Beatles Exhibition (similar to the David Bowie is exhibition that toured a few years ago). Jackson suggested "Get Back" instead, but now he's working on a new Beatles "live" project with Apple.
It's either going to be one of two things:
A virtual "live" show like the recent Abba Voyage shows with CGI hologram Beatles
The touring exhibition.
The exhibition would be the better setting for "Carnival of Light", as it was meant to be part of an art installation at the Round House. They could create a mini-Round House with the projectors and light show with "Carnival of Light" playing over the visuals, like it did in 1967. Probably the best context for an experimental piece like that as I'd imagine a lot of people writing it off without that context.
"The Isle Of Rock N Roll" is a lost song. Part of it was used in the 1993 movie "The Skateboard Kid" it was written by Billy Coiffi and Freddy Cannon and supposedly is a full song that wasn't made specifically for the movie. However, the song itself doesn't appear to have ever had an official release that i can find. Despite the fact millions of people have heard part of it in the famous JonTron video covering the movie.
So I don't know if we can consider this sound as a "Lost Media" but I found a previous video in my phone with this music and impossible to know what it is . I have of course used software like Shazam to try to know what it is but the title is not recognized by the application.
There is this one song I used to listen to a lot on SoundCloud called "Ume Femme Comme Moi" (a woman like me) by an account called LACN who does podcasts and reposts French music however if memory serves me right "Ume Femme Comme Moi" was the only original song they had and doing a bit or research at the time lead me to discovering a lost popular french play from the 1960s(?).
I wish I had saved that article and downloaded the song because I really wanted to hear more if this is what one song sounded like, now the song itself was a modernized adaptation of the original and had both a male and female lead singing in French with an instrumental that had a violin, piano, and I think a bass? It sounds like something that would've come straight out of Transistor.
Can't find any other upload of the song so I'll try to get into contact with them to see if they can provide a .mp3 file or at least point me to the play where the song was adapted from.
Update: They never responded and seem to have been inactive since March of this year, their other accounts have been inactive as well.
Disappointed mainly due to the fact that the song was so good and now it's gone with the only hope of even figuring out the lyrics is someone trying to decipher my bad French as I only remember the first two lines.

My biggest search is a series of songs that were released to MySpace back in the day by an artist called Shitbum - The Inappropriate Folk Singer. They were genuinely good songs but just NSFW lol. I've managed to find two, but the rest are missing.
I think i've found some lost myspace music What is linked is a obscure hungarian rock band which has a myspace page linked and archived on wayback I don't know if any of these song uploaded to youtube was also uploaded to myspace, but it's interesthing for sure
Also "Come On!"* which is a song sung by Barry featured in the Pokémon episode "Challenging a Towering Figure!" You can hear basically the whole thing in the background, but sound effects and an entire conversation happen during it, so you can barely make out any words.
*Title confirmed to me in a personal email by Barry's VA Jamie McGonnigal.

The songs in question are by a band known as Chop Suicide. They were a punk (maybe? I don't see much of a movement with it) band from Toronto (Canada) in 2007 - 2009 (circa), and a majority of their demo EP is lost -- the only two songs we have are Rockabilly Bitch and Panic Attack.I'll attach these two songs at the end of this post. What we're missing is: - Here to Stay - Turn it On - Runnin' On Empty
It seems like these songs are, or at least were on YouTube at one point. Their last.fm page was archived and an "Untitled Album" with those 5 songs were on it, and able to be played. I don't know what last.fm did but I assume from an update the track's were removed.
