Diary of a Winpy Kid: The Musical! (2016 iterations)

A thread about this musical was made a long time ago, but a bunch of new information has been found since that original thread was created, thanks to the r/LodedDiper subreddit and my own research on the topic. The original production of Diary of a Wimpy Kid Musical was ran by the Children's Theater Company from April 12th 2016 through June 12th 2016. The production was backed majorly by FOX Productions and had a good amount of input from Jeff Kinney, the author of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. The budget was higher than a normal Children's Theater Company production and was even majorly rumored to have a Broadway run come soon. Sadly, the original production was plagued with behind the scenes issues that caused whatever original plans that were set for the musical's future either majorly postponed or cancelled outright. These issues range from script and story rewrites (some of which were done as rehearsals were ongoing), the (then upcoming) FOX buyout, and the unfortunate passing of the original production's director. Thankfully, after COVID delays, the 2022 production was a success, enough to gain an extended run and is well archived by the LodedDiper subreddit. However, the private test screening and public showing of the 2016 production are still Partially Found, there's a lot of footage, but very little songs are fully archived and there's still a lot of blanks about how the original version of the story went. Eventually I will make this its own LMW article but for now I will dump whatever footage, images and articles were saved here.
