It's been awhile since I've posted here lol, anyway I was on twitter and saw a reply to an Ed Edd n Eddy Out of Context tweet, a user said this image was from an ed edd n eddy pokemon ad and this was the only image they could find of it. I did a little digging and found a fandom post of someone asking if anyone else remembered the ad ( ed.fandom.com/wiki/Forum:Remember_this%3F ) and it contains the image the twitter user posted. It was posted back in 2015 and they also said that it was the only image they could find of it, which means they likely don't have it saved, however this does prove it was real. I knew when I saw the twitter reply that I should share it here, it's such a stupid crossover that I want to see.
I'm going to be honest, this image looked shopped. However, I'm willing to entertain that an ad like this could have existed and I'll table my skepticism over the image for now.
That being said, EEnE forums from back in the day would be a good place to start looking. If multiple people have claimed to have seen it, then it's more than likely real. Also we could get an actual idea of what the ad was.

To me the ad seems like it could be real. it seems like it was from the early or mid 2000s and back then low quality edits using show footage were pretty common, I mean just look at the 4kids national anthem thing. idk if they were common on cartoon network or not but to me it seems like it could be real.

Yeah but it just looks old because it's artifacted (which is easy to fake or its just a low quality image), also a screenshot from something so long ago is already weird. The fandom article has zero info too. I'd really try and find other sources like forums discussing it just to get more info/verify. The EEnE fandom was incredibly huge, so that shouldn't be hard if it's real.
