I first heard of this movie several years ago, it's essentially a futuristic version of Footloose where all dancing is outlawed and a group of characters fight back against the oppression via dancing, Brenda Song was the lead and apparently had a sex scene where she actually got nude. There was a trailer released back in 2009 but no release date ever came and nothing much has been heard about this movie since. Surprised there's not been a LMW article or thread on this film yet.
Uh I did plenty of digging and it just didn't occur to me to check gossip sites for more info on the film, also it's not required of a topic on this forum to have EVERY single scrap of info on the piece of lost media in the first post so relax.
I noticed Houston is on Cameo, but i'm not i'm willing to put down 100 bucks just to get him to do a video message about the movie. Anyways I messaged him and Brenda Song on IG about the film, if someone on here was able to get a response from a big director like Sean McNamara then me getting a response from at least one of these actors isn't that farfetched.
Tried using the films's website with all of my Flash Player extensions but no luck as I keep getting the error saying "there is no file to load" and according to Wayback the site went defunct in 2011 so whatever trailers and other files were on that site are long gone now.

I doubt the film will get released considering the fact that the director Chris Stokes has been in some hot water in recent years unless a producer leaks the film or the production company gives the streaming rights to a streamer like Tubi, Crackle or Amazon Prime.

What kind of "hot water"? His Wikipedia page doesn't mention anything about that.

Don't dismiss any source simply because it is a gossip site, or seemingly trivial or unimportant information (as you say "EVERY single scrap of info"). It may contain leads other users may pursue. Or, you know, someone makes a video on the lost media concerned to popularize it to a larger audience.
Having looked that stuff up it does not appear there's been any new developments of traction on that case since last year(and i've heard contradicting stories on what actually happened, with at least one person saying some DMs between Raz B and another person suggest that his claims about Stokes and Houston aren't true)so i'm not so sure those stories about Stokes are true, even if they were that wouldn't necessarily prevent this film from coming out, after all Woody Allen's movie "A Rainy Day in New York" eventually saw release in the USA a few years after the allegations against him despite it's initial delay.

Uh did I say I was "dismissing" the source because it was a gossip site? NOOOOOO, literally ALL I said was that it simply didn't occur to me to check gossip sites for info on a lost movie, that's it, take a chill pill and next time please pay close attention to what I ACTUALLY said before making assumptions like that.
OK managed to find this video talking about the film that uncovered a bunch of stuff I did not know, the film was made after the members of B2K raised funds for it and apparently the reason it hasn't come out is because none of the dancers in the film actually got paid, the film was 3/4 shot but production had to stop so Brenda Song could finish filming for Suite Life on Deck, then it started back up again but because of the dancers not getting paid the film couldn't be released.
