Long time no see! How's it going?
Look, I don't intent to keep this too long.
^ This is "Hey Yo Yorang"- or "요랑아 요랑아" / "꼬마여우 요랑" which means "Yorang Yorang" / "Little Fox Yorang" (Yes, the fox in the picture is her; Yorang, which indeed is the main character- well, actually not. It is a boy with blue hair. But this info is not all that important for now.)
I always remember watching this show as a small kid. I was too small to know any foreign languages and my family was not bilingual. So there is no way I watched it in any other language other then my own and get the important plot points well enough to remember them even if vagely after many years. Too bad that I forgot it's name over the time and had to go into a seach of my own. And luckly, I did found it, in this wiki just for magical girl shows;
I specially started my seach there because her being a magical girl was one of the thing from the show I remembered the most.
One problem tho, the site gives many other foreign dubs' titles. But Turkish is no where to be seen.
I personaly think that the right title should be "Benim Küçük Tilkim"; which is a direct translation of the English one; "My Little Fox." This might be false tho; I seem to vaguely remember a short ad where the announcer tells the show's name at the end loudly after I have seen the English title. This might be a false memory- but I'll say there is a good chance there was once just an ad on the channel that was airing the show; which should be "Kanal D Çocuk" (Channel D Kids), if I'm not wrong on that too. It channel has been shut down for a good while since the early 2010's kids' channels boom in Turkey and new shows from all over the world were flooding in. Many channels has shared the same fate. But the parent channel Kanal D is still going strong, I assure you. (Think this as a Fox - Fox Kids thing.) Making promo ads for their own shows is common practise all over the world I guess.
Why all this is important? Because I don't have any proof that a Turkish dub of this show exists at all. If someone were to accuse me of coming all of this by myself, I would have noting to show them as proof. For Bebek Zuri / Super Baby Zuri (a.k.a Anime for Childern About An Alian Baby Magical Girl) there is a Youtube clip of the opening titled "Opening For Baby Zuri" in the language and also a dead website for a channel that leads to nowhere. For another Korean show, Z-Squad, the whole thing is just up on Youtube as it is and also their page in Magical Girls wiki acknowledges it's existance. Hey Yo Yorang? Notting. There even is a one time only English dub of the first episode on Vimeo.
Also, I remember who the voice acters are for Yorang and the main character boy. However, I only remember them by voice and not from their names, so I will have to look up a lot of Turkish voice actors (surprisingly it's a profound profession here and there is a lot of them) and compere their voices. I will inform anyone who is interested in the case once I get any results.
Also, also; this is just the begining. I'm sure I will come up with lots of other shows which I remember watching in dub and now there is not even a trace of them left now.
Thanks for your time.
