Growing up, I remember seeing these commercials that were filmed in black-and-white and had a really pretty piano piece playing in the background. I don’t remember what exactly they were for, I think kids education or something? Anyways, I remember they would sometimes air a few in a row, which was always noticeable because the piano piece which had just finished would start again.
I must have seen these on Nickelodeon or maybe Cartoon Network, since the other channels I usually watched didn’t have regular ads. However, not once in the last decade (during which time I’ve gone back and looked through many things I saw during the early 2000s) have I come across these, in spite of all the commercial breaks from the time that are online. Maybe they were a local thing? I live in the northwest, so if this sounds familiar to anyone else who lives there we can probably deduce that it was a local ad. Either way, I want to find these ads and hear that piano tune again.

Does anyone know what I’m talking about? The piano riff was slightly similar to the one from Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles”, which would probably place it in mid-2002 at latest, assuming that’s what it was based on.
