With certain episodes being deleted from truTV and hbo max, and Joe pretty much being scrubbed from the franchise names on their websites now that he is leaving, do you think it’s likely that some content from the show over the years will end up as lost media? old episodes and bonus stuff, plus probably the ones that they have already filmed that will probably never be aired now. what do you think? (sorry if this has been discussed already)
I read up on all of this after I asked. I think you have a legit case about it becoming lost media, but I do wonder if they had a physical release of any kind. Also one of the pulled segments is on YouTube I've heard.

I got really into this series a couple years ago and found out that the first 8 seasons got complete releases on DVD. However I'm not sure how extensive those releases are, whether or not they come with any bonus material and if that same content could go missing on streaming platforms.
With a series that's been going on for so long I'm sure there's going to be content that is simply not archived anywhere.

I agree with that

I actually found out there's an entire lost pilot episode for the series called Mission Uncomfortable. Apparently it was made when they were still The Tenderloins and I think the only clip of it that's resurfaced was in a look back special of the series that's on YouTube.
Considering it hasn't been released at all given how old the show is and now that Joe's gone I'm sure we'll never get it now, unless Joe has a copy and decides to leak it or something.
