Hi everyone, this is my first post. How is everyone, morning, evening, night, or in general days going? Hope you all are doing excellent on the other side. About the topic.
Being a little off-topic, there is an Gundam Wing Censored Version that was released on VHS. The same version that was literally aired on CN. "As Seen on Cartoon Network or Toonami", as it said on the front or back VHS cover. I couldn't say the same for Gundam Seed. However, there was an encoder by someone name [Falkinss] who done episode 1 to 13:
Assuming it was recorded off from the DVR. If isn't happened to be, of course it would be on the VHS. That was a life time ago, or mostly like ancient ago, back around the time when GS was an new airing on CN in 2004. If you have any of his encodes. Or it can be a WOC or WOC that attach to other series/movie. If you have any, WOC or not, I love it if you knock on my door.
I wish all dubbed censored anime that aired on CN was archived and documented. I want to see mad cow technique and tomatoes soup edits from dragon ball.
Sorry, I can't help with this. I wasn't into anything but original anime in Japanese other than stuff that might have aired on channels out of Hawaii or other places that ran subbed Japanese shows. usually, the dubbing is atrocious to my ears after hearing the original voices for so long. But if I come across anything that I *might* have recorded, I'll let you know. Cartoon network wasn't legally available in my country (Canada) as it would have violated our Canadian Content rules. Teletoon might have carried the show but I wouldn't know without checking TV Guides from that time. Most of my stuff is from far earlier, going back to at least 1980 for domestic and anime productions...

[Shaking my head] I feel you, back in the days I think the original Japanese Anime & it's seiyu dub would be a lot epic then the English version at the time.
I wasn't sure if CA provided Cartoon Network, I do know of this Canadian channel name YTV, it sort of felt like a sister of Cartoon Network I guess and other Children Broadcast Program's from the U.S. Such as Fox Kids, Kids WB, to name a few. The shows that aired there, also ran there. Shout out to YTV and Teletoon, little tiny hope.
YTV aired Gundam SEED in Canada, but they didn't run Cartoon Network's edit. It was largely uncut, with the exception of some very haphazardly implemented nudity edits (which were more like, "cut the scene of this nude woman's bare back and butt" than a visual edit).
I'm kinda shocked they didn't run the CN edits on YTv for GS? Any reason why?
CN produced those edits in-house and likely never shared those masters with Bandai. Even if they did, YTV obviously didn't have much of an issue with the show's content. It was explicitly promoted for a teen audience, not children.

Interested to see how the Canadian edit this lady back and butt. I think this lady we are referring to under the name Fayt, which I'm aware of that one scene.
Thing is I have no idea what I was recording back then. I just randomly picked up a spool that says TCM and CN shows. What shows and movies? Doesn't say. And I have hundreds if not thousands of discs from CN, Boomerang, etc. not to mention all the tapes recorded from 1980 to 2003 when I switched to DVD recordings exclusively. It just becomes another thing on a list that maybe I'll run into. But most of my recordings were for shows like Naruto, Pokemon, Ben 10 etc. from that time (2007) as my friends' kids were watching those shows...
