Since Cartoonito has finally landed in the United States recently, I'm starting to trigger flashbacks of an earlier attempt to bring the brand to the USA. I haven't seen the attempt myself, since I don't have Dish Network even back then, but I found out in a different way.... When I was a kid, I used to love looking at those Dish Network flyers that would come from the mail due to my love towards logos, so I would just stare at what channels Dish Network had to offer. One time, when I looked at one Dish Network flyer, I clearly saw the 2006 Cartoonito logo with my own two eyes, alongside with the KidsCo logo (which also had an attempt to come to my country, but it failed) right next to it (and no, it wasn't a dream, I was clearly awake at that time), although I don't remember the channel numbers for them. This was the first time I've heard of both Cartoonito and KidsCo, and back then I thought they were related (even though they were not related) and Cartoonito was a channel for kids of all ages while KidsCo was a preschool channel (even though it is the other way around). I showed slight interest in seeing Cartoonito and KidsCo, but I knew I couldn't afford Dish Network.
Has anyone else in the USA remember this wierd situation/attempt too? UPDATE: The magazine/cataloge thingys were actually called "flyers".

I am not sure what you are talking about but there was an early attempt by cartoon network to bring PreK shows on to their network which eventually failed. One of the most notable ones being Peppa Pig.
It could be possible you saw the logo for Noggin, but I am not 100% sure.

I actually do remember that early Cartoon Network "Tickle U" attempt, and that actually introduced me to Peppa Pig, but sadly, that's not what I'm talking about. I know, being specific on what you remember might be hard to explain and might be unbelievable, but I clearly remember seeing the Cartoonito and KidsCo logos on one of the Dish Network flyers on the channel listing section that shows the logos for TV channels they had.

i know dish network used to offer a superstation package, where you could get local tv stations from other cities (like WGN in chicago and KTLA in los angeles), so maybe. i don't exactly know if they had networks from other countries, though.
