Hello and Salutations LMW. You can call me Moth (She/Her). So uh...lemme tell you about CVO.
INTRO:
In 2003, IDW Publishing (A comics publisher) released "CVO: Covert Vampiric Operations" by Alex Garner. The comic was about CIA Agents that were vampires and must fight opposing political governments that used the evil super natural. The comic was successful enough for IDW to make more, but something was different in the later runs...
THE PART WHERE KONAMI IS INVOLVED:
In 2004, the next issues of CVO had a Konami logo on it.
In the books and a few online articles (links will be posted) they had made mention that "CVO is in development as a major video game by Konami" The comics all had the Konami logo and the copyright information up until its last run in 2007. After the last run, there was no video game, no trailer, no screenshots, no concept art, no nothing. Although, The CVO characters came back in 2011 and 2012 as part of IDW's Infestation crossover, but there was no mention of Konami owning the CVO characters and such.
WITH THE COMICS DONE AND NO VIDEO GAME RELEASED, IT IS VERY SAFE TO SAY THAT IT HAS BEEN LOST/CANCELLED. BUT...WHY? WHAT NOW?
Very curious and wanting to pull a Blameitonjorge/Nick Robinson, I decided to seek information on why the game was cancelled. I was able to find the creators email, Alex Garner, and sent him one back in May. As of writing this post, there hasn't been any response from him. As of now...we dont have any leads on why this game was cancelled. Searching CVO in Google will only give you the comics and nothing really about the cancelled video game. This topic is not covered by anyone out there as I have seen. I will be making follow ups with updates and images as I own all the comic books (like a heccing nerd) with the newsletters and Konami copyright information, but ill need to take pictures. If you have anything to say or any questions please feel free to ask me! Thank you for reading my post!

P.S. If you're Blameitonjorge or Nick Robinson reading this, Hi I love your work.
