Hello. I was going through the lost media archive and found the original airing of this without the replaced music is considered lost.
Well, I have it. I recorded almost the Mario, Captain N, and Zelda shows on their first run and when I checked my list, I recorded this episode in 1990/91 off NBC meaning it's most certainly the Wipeout version. I don't know if the tape still plays but I can check.
I also have the lost Pokemon preview episode (Pokémon "Battle Aboard the St. Anne" original English-dubbed sneak peek broadcast; 1998), Pokemon WB Kids holiday bumpers that I have never seen elsewhere nor have ever seen anyone even talk about, some old Saturday Morning previews from NBC, and some other stuff that I have no idea if it's lost or just hard to find. I was a serial recorder back then, I have a good 100 tapes full of lots of misc stuff. I'm kicking myself though for not saving more of the Nickelodeon shows. Oh and BIG TIME kicking over not recording stuff like Wolf Rock TV, Belle and Sebastian, and Saturday Supercade. Big. Time.
So I need to ask - is the stuff on the wiki a fairly complete list of what people are after? I'm happy to share as soon as I get a USB capture - I already sold off my biggest piece of lost media (The original Megaman Cartoon promo) because I want this stuff out there. Does the world no good sitting on a tape and decaying.
For starters, thank you so much for finding Lost Media
Secondly, it's hard to say since there's a lot of Lost Media in the world that it's hard to ever have a complete list. Personally I'd say the wiki has a fairly completed list of Lost Media and would be really grateful for your contributions

Had a look through, I may be able to help fill a few holes after all as well as offer a few oddities in better viewing condition. Going to go through my tapes and check if they play. Also going to read the guide to ripping stuff from VHS tapes.
Haha, this might take a while but I'm happy to contribute!

Someone else mentioned myspleen. What is it? Is it a torrent site? If so, I'd be happy to torrent once they're ripped to digital if I could get a run down on how to upload. Yeah I know, I'm old. I've downloaded torrents but never uploaded any of my own to share.
To be honest, I've wanted to archive my VHS collection for years but could never find a decent means to. Many of these tapes have been kept in a nice cool place and haven't been played in 10+ years - I have wholly intact airings of 80's cartoons too with their commercials but again, I need to check if they still play. It'll be a project but fun nostalgia too.
