I found a video titled UNKNOWN VHS TAPE #425-5H1. It was on YouTube, was about a minute in length, & had planes flying around. This kind of looks like a game of sorts that seemingly never saw the light of day, & as far as I know, this is the only footage of this game out there. There isn't any actual info on this game other than the tape was found in some archive, whatever archive that was I don't know.
There's a few things that I want to know about this tape.
Is this footage of an unreleased, or simply lost video game?
If so then... who developed the game?
What systems was the game planned to appear on?
Can we get a hold of some of the people who worked on it?
EDIT: Ok, I found what seems to be more footage of this game:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJmv3d1U94M Looks to have been made during the late 90s, or early 2000s kind to think of it. It's an intro test of sorts, & I assume Retro Tigers is a company name, or maybe this is a lost homebrew game? I don't know, maybe this is some strange ARG, & I just don't get the joke. I do hope that this IS a real game!
Interesting but I dont see how it could be a game, if it is a real tape, it probably is just a demo of airplanes with music that the creator likes
You're probably right on that, but we don't know for sure. Perhaps the plane part is actual game footage, but the music, & the "Retro Tigers" logo(alongside the other transition effects in the 2nd one) are fake stuff put in.
look, this cannot be a game, it will be a recording of something, like, a movie, and even if it is, I think it must be super obscure, I think the best way is to see the game and see it in the 3do, because there are few games

I'm pretty sure there are TONS of VHS tapes that have recordings of gameplay in them, so it could be a video game.
Like this one with footage of Sonic 2, & 3:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=hECf8suGZe8 It's also worth mentioning that real life planes tend to not move like... that, & the scenery looks more like 3D graphics then real life footage.

Ok, so I took a closer look at the footage, & noticed how the lands looked more realistic than the planes. Not actually real, but they looked like something that probably won't be on the PS1, nor N64. Now I think it might be either PS2, Gamecube, or Xbox. Might still be a PC, or 3DO M2 game perhaps, & maybe Dreamcast, but certainly not the PS1, nor N64.
this is just a theory. I will do more research and talk to the channel owner
Huh, so maybe this game is based on those blue jets? That's an interesting theory that I'm getting to here. What are those blue jets exactly though? If anyone knows the actual names of the blue jets, let me know, therefore we could come up with an idea as to what this unreleased PC/3DO M2/Dreamcast/PS2/Gamecube/Xbox game's name is. I assume there were similar recordings of real life blue jets that were used as references for the unreleased game, & these videos might've been an event where the blue jets were shown off again.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTIzVdq6A1k Oh, & here's footage of Ace Combat Zero for PS2. The footage of the game has seemingly similar graphics settings to ACZ, so perhaps it was made for the PS2. We'll have to get in touch with a few people who developed games for PS2 though to actually confirm that theory.
ok but, how are we going to get in touch with them. it may give chances that they are already dead, even so, if I see and think they are Japanese. I found some devs: Hiroki Odagaki Yoichi Murakoshi
we may be close to ending, keep going
ps: i dont speak Japanese

I think it's also possible that the devs of this unreleased game might actually be from the US, or Europe. Majesco published a few flight simulator titles, & so did Microsoft, so it's possible. Heck, it might've been made by the same people who made the F-15 Strike Eagle series!
I know it's quite a stretch, but he did design a few flight simulator games on several other systems, so maybe he might be responsible for the blue jet game. If he did develop the game, then it could mean that it was going to be published by Electronic Arts.
