Turn-On is an American sketch comedy series that aired on ABC in February 1969. Only a fraction of one episode was shown, leaving the second episode, as well as the the entire rest of the first one unaired, the show is considered one of the most infamous flops and quickest cancellation in TV history. Turn-On's sole block was shown on February 5, 1969, at 8:30 pm ET.

I've seen both the first and second TURN-ON episodes at the Paley Center in NYC. While LAUGH-IN had electonic edits and loud music, but the jokes were largely G-rated, and THE SMOTHERS BROTHERS COMEDY HOUR had a traditional format but they performed controversial material, TURN-ON was disorienting both in form and content, like somebody spinning you around in circles for 30 minutes straight and THEN screaming "F--- you!" at the top of their lungs.
I watched the first episode today at the Paley Center. It was bad. Even worse than I thought it would be. The jokes go by so fast you don't even have time to process them. Every single skit has an annoying squelchy moog synth noise playing under it. All the "jokes" are either really bad double entendres or political references that aren't even funny if you know the context. It had a unique visual style for the time but other than that it hasn't held up at all. It's an interesting part of TV history but if you haven't seen it you aren't missing much.

Outside the two episodes that are restricted to the The Paley Center for Media in New York City, Andrew Sandoval's book The Monkees: The Day-By-Day Story of the 60s TV Pop Sensation, The Monkees made an appearance in a different unaired episode, meaning that more episodes of the show may have been filmed.
