Looking for an old Cartoon Network On Demand sponsor plug

Now that I think about it, I think there was also an Inika sponsor plug later that year, plus Barraki and Mahri sponsor plugs in 2007. There may have been some from 2008 to 2010, but I didn’t have regular access to TV for the remainder of BIONICLE’s run. I can tell you that once I got back access to TV in 2011, LEGO was still regularly doing sponsor plugs for Cartoon Network On Demand.

I take back what I said about there being no commercial following the plug. I think they played a Piraka commercial after it in some (but not all) episodes that used it. The Inika one was definitely followed by one of the Toa Inika commercials (the one with “Move Along” by the All-American Rejects). The Barraki plug, as I seem to remember, was slightly longer because it included the tagline: “Cartoon Network On Demand is brought to you by LEGO Barraki: Creeps From the Deep.”

I have a personal interest in preserving all BIONICLE media, no matter how small, so I would absolutely love to find these. I should also mention that Biomedia Project doesn’t have any of them. People who record from On Demand services typically don’t leave commercials intact (plus DVRs don’t give you the option to record On Demand stuff). I think the best way to find these is determine which ad agency was responsible for them and see if they still have them in their portfolio, even if we have to contact them. BIONICLE fans have been pretty resourceful in recovering lost material, and in some cases have even found unreleased material nobody knew existed. I wish there was more interest in these.
