Actually, I just got a different idea. Back in 2008 YouTube used to have this feature where you could do response videos to someone else's video. We might be able to use YouTube's filter and see if we can find a response video to Nickelodeon Debacle, I mean I can't see people not responding back to it. If we find an old response video, we'll probably get a username of the guy.
I remember when YouTube had that video response feature. And that is a good idea! Maybe somebody here could try it?
I tried on my phone, but YouTube's filters are total garbage. I'm gonna try on desktop later, but youtube's search features are AWFUL. Unfortunately with "debacle" being in the title it makes looking in Google even harder.
First of all, thank you guys so much for delving in to this. I felt like I was alone in remembering these videos, but it's good to know I'm not.
Secondly searching for responses is a great idea! I do seem to recall that some people DID respond, however, whether or not those vids are still up is completely unknown. I JUST wish I could remember a name so we could get in contact with him.
His pilot was really interesting. Kind of like a proto-Gravity Falls mixed with Zim-esque qualities. All I can remember about the three main kids is that one was a chupacabra. I would also love to know what he thought of Enter The Florpus!

Best case scenario, the guy either deleted it himself or privated it off his channel because he didn't wanna ruin his chance of getting back in the industry. Also he might have been planning on re-using the pitch later.
I think the worst case scenario, is that Viacom deleted it or he doesn't have the rights to share his pitch. Viacom did go on a big deleting spree back in 2010ish and they were known to be unreasonable about it.
But I actually have this weird sense this guy privated everything, because I think re-uploads would have happened otherwise. Although this is all speculation.
Actually, for all we know this guy is actively in the industry which in my opinion would be big motivation to remove the videos. Can you possibly remember what his art style looked like? I mean it's a stretch we could match it to someone's work....if only we had another lead like an old live journal or blog of some sort.
But if he didn't private the video himself, pretty sure that means very little chance it will be recovered. YouTube does hold onto flagged videos, but only for so long, and you have to go through this process proving it didn't violate copyright or whatever.
Can you possibly remember what his art style looked like?
This is one of those cases where my memory is making up what I THINK it should've looked like, but pressing myself, I might say that Amazon show Costume Quest mixed with some Gravity Fall-ish elements.
In a small update, I found a post of part 2b with the original description. It read
"In which I create a TV series pitch and find out the real reason Invader Zim was cancelled"
Sadly no creator name and of course, a dead link.

I was also thinking it could be because he works in the industry now, and maybe he removed it because he didn't want to hurt his reputation I suppose?
Yeah I think that makes a lot of sense. But figuring out who he might be is like finding a needle in a hay stack....I'm assuming he wouldn't be working at Nickelodeon though.

I'd love to throw something up on Twitter to see if we could find anything...but eh...part of me doesn't wanna call the guy out.
Figured with all the ace detective going on around here lately, I'd bump this one last time. But to summarize what we've found...
Content Of The Video Series: A Youtuber goes over his visit to Nickelodeon studios and his opinions on cancelled and upcoming projects. After his initial thoughts, he shares a pitch story on his experience with Oh Yeah Cartoons and Frederator Studios. He then shares either the entire animatic pilot or a piece of it.
Pilot is a comedy/mystery/fantasy series involving kid versions of cryptid characters who go on adventures
Reasons For Loss: It's very possible the original creator has moved on from this experience and now has a job in the industry. The boards themselves may have been property of Nickelodeon, as well.
Found: Forum links with original Youtube URLs, found by Matan2001.
I also came across an embedded video of Part 2B on Facebook with the description "In which I create a TV series pitch and find out the real reason Invader Zim was cancelled". Dead, of course.
I mentioned this in my last post, but I'm unsure of whether or not we should try and find this guy on Twitter or other social media. This is a video made over 10 years ago and it's possible the creator has just outgrown those opinions. If we WERE to try and aim for something, I'd be far more interested in seeing if someone could dig up those boards over anything else.
Let me know if you guys know anything else that could help in this search. Thanks!

Been quite some time since I thought of this. Wonder if anyone else could help. I tried reaching out to the original posters on Retrojunk and they've clearly moved on from that site. Shame, this animatic pops into my head every now and then.

How would we even begin trying to find him on Twitter?
