Marilyn Manson's "Groupie" to be released October 20th! :O

Only 1 week now, I'm really fucking excited for this.

Ugh.

Guess it was delayed Hopefully we hear something about it soon

Yeah the box set just never came out.
The date came and went and nothing ever came of it. My guess is that it had nothing to do with groupie but the box fell through.
Manson, for all of his edgyness is pretty corporate, take a look at his Twitter and you will see that every other tweet is sponsored. That's not inherently bad but I can see how his sponsors may not want to be associated with something that extreme.
I predict it will come out when he retires, and since he is in his 50s that should be soon.

Manson has always had this problem in his career, claiming something will come out and then having it be cancelled or delayed. Sometimes it is his fault for not having his albulm fully prepared by a deadline, sometimes it is the fault of the studio or producer. He has delayed several albulms (I think Antichrist superstar, his biggest work, was even delayed). Box sets and vinals have a history of delay as well.
As I've said, I think it will come out closer to the end of his career, whatever is on those tapes, it is probably not career ending but certainly enough to make the news.
