There is a Naruto cartoon network dub, this dub was not done by 4kids, but cartoon network, I can only find some clips from it, but from what i have seen things are changed, Redrawn Ect. The Redraws look bad, from the screen shots i have seen, it looks like someone just putted them in flash and tried there best. So how cartoon network got naruto is not how 4kids got one piece, It was instead a thing where cartoon network saw it and thought, "hey this could be a series that our watchers would love", So they went and bought the rights to the show, they of course had to censor the blood and all that stuff. the reason why i am talking about it on here, is because i or anyone else can not find any full episode online of this, dub and being a fan of naruto as well, I would like to see this dub found, so people can relive naruto the way they did back then on cartoon network, Even though we all think that the viz dub is really good, this piece of naruto dubbing history should be preserved and found, Even the naruto english dubs predateing that, if there are any.
Was this when Cartoon Network first aired Naruto? If so then I probably saw a ton of episodes! I was forced to catch Naruto on Toonami (with scary face Tom) around 2007ish. The only significant thing I can recall is the Sauske Naruto accidental kiss was censored.

So I'm kinda remembering 2 different versions, I do remember the daytime slot, which is when the censored kiss happened. But I also remember when it aired on Toonami on Saturday evenings, is that a different version from the daytime slot one? I didn't even know that the CN dubbed version was lost. There could possibly recorded episodes out there on tape, still was a thing people did in the later 2000s, though it was sorta a dying thing.
It's the exact same cast as the uncut dub. The show is pretty much the same, except with some minor violence and nudity edits, as well as replacement intros. Viz released the first 135 episodes of this version on DVD in North America:
This cut also aired on YTV in Canada (all 220 episodes) and in Australia. IIRC, the UK broadcast was edited even further and that run didn't last long.

Well Hopefully someone comes forward with a copy because this deserves not to be lost, the same goes with any attempt to dub naruto before cartoon network, even if any do exist, but the cartoon network dub, needs to be found. its a huge deal for naruto fans and as well as our childhoods
Viz released Naruto in multiple ways. The specific DVDs I linked to are not uncut. They're a dub-only, edited version. This is from Vol. 32, the last of the dub-only DVD releases (AFAIK). It directly states, "North American edited TV version" on the bottom left and says "As seen on Cartoon Network."
The changes between this version and the uncut one aren't big enough for there to be a real desire to keep it around. If you dig up old torrents and pirate streaming sites, you might be able to find TV rips of it. Shippuden on Disney XD might've had heavier alterations.
Not quite, the dub that aired on children's television is different from the uncut DVD's in a few ways.
The VIZ TV version has it's own theme song a.d credits for the first two seasons as well as translated text.
One person mentioned before how the title cards and credits were translated to english but the edited DVD'S are the only ones containing the raw edited footage.
The encodes from Cartoon_Palace and such are very pixilated and have the CN logo on it so if other fans can preverve lost versions of franchises like Dragon Ball than Naruto deserves the same.
