I recently stumbled upon some clips from a show in the late 80s/early 90s called KIDS TV:
This was the first time I had heard of the show, and it also seems to be the only properly released clip. I started digging, and I found the intro to the show:
All else I could find were numerous behind the scenes clips of the show, all uploaded by who seems to be someone who was involved with its production: www.youtube.com/channel/UCXLceMNULT5fnEYctv-RycQ Here is the description of the videos:
"THE FLEXITOON PUPPETS starred in KIDS-TV on SHOWTIME. The series was based upon the perennial classroom fave WEEKLY READER. The puppets run an after-school video club where they go out in the field and report the news. Topics ranged from AIDS AWARENESS to THE SPACE PROGRAM to LITERACY.
The only program that seems to be documented in full is the homelessness episode; all other episodes are completely lost. I'm not sure if this aired on the movie channel Showtime, or some other platform.
I found a commercial of the show, this proves that it did air on the movie channel Showtime. This also confirms other episodes were shot, the one featured here was an environmental episode.
I also found clips from another episode, this one on "young offenders"

Interesting. I'll take a look around to see what I can find. Reminds me of the ABC After School Specials, in the sense that it discusses topics many shows would not dare to go into.
Edit 1: Wikipedia (not the most reliable but it can be helpful) has the show listed as running on the network from 1990 to 1993. There is no page created for the show. Best chance we have of finding anything for this is home recordings. The videos you have linked are the only videos I can locate right now. I'll keep checking though.
I'm thinking of the possibility that there could have been official video releases: the Grimy Ghost video showcases the episode in a much higher quality than any of the other recordings. I'll try looking for any shredsif there were any releases made.
These tapes were distributed by JCI Video (with Fox/Lorber), sadly I couldn't find the AIDS episode. The description of the Flexitoon videos say there were episodes about "THE SPACE PROGRAM" and "LITERACY", so there's obviously more than those four episodes.
Trust me, these tapes haven't been digitized. Or at least publicly digitized.
I own all home media releases. There are only 4 that were released. It is possible that this show aired more episodes but we will never know as this show is forgotten and has been lost to time. I am willing to digitalize and upload.

This is late, but that would be incredibly appreciated. Thanks!
Wow, thanks! This is an interesting development as this episode isn't listed as being released on VHS. Are there more TV exclusive episodes? Thanks again!
