When I watched the Astro Boy 2003 English dub on KidsWB a long time ago there were "Today on Astro Boy" teasers that aired after the opening and before the main episode began. I have never seen any of these on youtube and they weren't there when the show aired on US Toonami and aren't on the DVD masters I guess.

The only small update that I have is that myspleen does have at least 4 kidswb block airings of Astro boy, but I dont have access the grab them. I really want to save at least one "today on Astro boy" segment and apparently there are lost bumpers from the dub themselves, that have been cut out on the DVDs. Not them bumpers that kidswb made for their own airings. Hopefully this can be recorded soon.

I messaged a user that had myspleen a while back and they never got back to me. The last thing they messaged me was that, to the effect of..

"Only a few eps can be found like like episode 2, "Robot Ball," and some other airings" on the myslpeen. kidswb aired the dub from jan-jun 2004.

Thank you for helping! I justed wanted one cause I know I will never get all of them for this 50 EP dub series. The music in it is exclusive to this segment. I watched the dub recently and it doesnt play anywhere else. The halfway point of the dub has no extra bumpers is that correct? Kidswb only ordered 26 dub eps to air and I'm not even sure if they did air them all. I assume each dub episode had one of these but I don't know the shows airing history outside the US. Again. Toonami US did not have these during their airing.

They never sent me any link, but this mystery is solved a bit now!I'm just baffled why the home media release would remove these?! Keep these in cause these parts likely caused snippets in the dub itself to be removed. Properly archive your show!

I guess you never found more? Finding whatever is possible helps if the rights holders were able to let someone else rerelease the series properly next time and we need to show them we want these segments included i suppose.
