anyone around here have that one episode of the rosie o' donnell show where ryan drummond guest stars in it or somethin' and there was sonic stuff involved?
this is probably the only image of it in existence:
"Tastes too good to be...but it's not! Tastes too good to be...you know what! Tastes too good to be...BUT IT'S TRUE! Tastes too good to be GOOD FOR YOU!"

Update: Ryan actually responded back and linked an episode of this podcast called Nerd On! from 2018 where he does discuss the episode, podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/nerd-on-the-podcast/id1282618135?i=1000425711274. If you don't wanna watch the whole thing, i'll summarize what he said about the episode. He said he went on The Rosie O' Donnell show in 1998 during the Toys For Tots segment where companies donated toys to kids in need, and the reason Ryan was there was because Sega was donating Sonic plushies to the program (he even got his own Dreamcast as compensation for participating). He even goes on to specifically mention the part where the Sonic mascot was with Rosie, and Ryan did Sonic's voice off camera while a completely different guy was wearing the costume (apparently the guy did clean up for tragedy scenes, according to Ryan).

I've been looking for an episode of this show (That i've only heard by mention so I'm not 100% sure if it exists but I'm still willing to look) Where Furbys or Tiger Electronics was brought up in some way, and since Toys for Tots seems like it'd be the most appropriate section to show up on and also given the year this episode was released (Furbys came out October 1998) That would be crazy if this were the same episode, Hoping this gets found!!
Good news!! The official Rosie YouTube page has been uploading full episodes lately, and so far it's just the 1999 ones being uploaded in full but its best to keep an eye out for future uploads from 1998, so far they just have interviews for that year and some other stuff and not any clips from Toys for Tots
Sonic Adventure is my favorite game and unearthing any promotional material is a good thing. Are we sure it's from 1998? The English version wasn't released until 1999. I know it was delayed a couple times in 1998, but that was only for the Japanese version, which Ryan Drummond was not involved with.

It says December 23, 1998, which is not so coincidentally the game's exact release date in Japan. At this point, development on the localization had not started yet (source). It's possible Ryan Drummond had already been hired, but I have no idea at what point casting took place.
I say the IMDb broadcast gate is a guess based on the Japanese release date, especially since the episode number is "unknown" and so is the season. It's happened before: IMDb has an entry for the American Pokémon Red and Blue commercial, with a release year of 1996, which is laughable, since they weren't even selected for localization at that point (unlike Sonic, it was a brand new franchise and the anime and TCG, which further cemented its success and were both packaged into the international premiere virtually simultaneously, hadn't even begun in Japan at yet). I once tried to correct this, but they rejected my correction with "hurr durr you have no proof hurr durr," so whatever, if they wanna be wrong, they can be wrong, I guess.
On a more positive note, Rosie O'Donnell's official YouTube channel seems to be uploading full episodes of her show in more-or-less broadcast quality (emphasis on "broadcast" since the TV-G bug is in the upper-left-hand corner after fade-ins) at a rate of about one episode per day, and, as of 15 hours ago, is somewhere in 1999. If I'm correct about the date being a mistake, we may soon be getting this episode.

Yeah IMDb has a lot of bizarre inconsistencies, I think the episodes on the YouTube channel are in the November range now so we're actually VERY close to seeing the episode itself if it actually aired in 1999, hoping for the best I've been watching the Rosie broadcasts as they've been uploaded so I'll for sure keep an eye out
The last few episodes uploaded have Christmas decorations, show off children's gift ideas and feature costumed guests (so far, Barney, Elmo and Leapfrog). I've got a good feeling about this...

Same!! The backdrop has been similar to the one in the image too so it's possible we could be seeing it soon
