I have a request for something that isn't on the Lost Media wiki, this relates to a very infamous contestant who appeared on Jeopardy! back in March 1986. I know Jeopardy! has A LOT of lost media, most episodes haven't been shown on GSN and I believe Sony takes down most episodes on Youtube, but with how infamous this women is, I would like to see anything from her run on Jeopardy!
In March 1986, a woman named Barbara Lowe appeared on Jeopardy! and ended up winning 5 games (this was the maximum number of games you could win until 2003). However, she was later found to be ineligible because I believe she was on another game show less than 1 year ago I think, you can only go on a game show once a year. As it turns out, this women was many other different game shows using different aliases. Her winnings were originally withheld, but she threatned to sue the production company so she ended up recieving her winnings but she was banned from appearing on any future tournaments. It is largely believed that all 5 of her episodes have been labeled "not for reruns". Season 2 of Jeopardy! has in fact aired on GSN, but obviously none of her episodes were shown.
Another reason that Barbara Lowe was so infamous was that reportedly she argued with Alex over any incorrect responses. I don't know if this was blown out of proportion or not. With all that this women has done, I honestly highly doubt she didn't act like that.
Not only is there currently no footage or even photos of Barbara's Lowe run on Jeopardy!, none of her episodes are archived on www.j-archive.com. The only mention of her on the website is that she defeated 4 time champion Lionel Goldbart. I would definitely like to see ANY of the awkwardness of her run.
