So I have spent an exhausting amount of time searching for this show with basically zero luck but alot of info. C.l.y.d.e was a cartoon produced in 1990, it featured a talking juke box and 2 young protagonists as they went on adventures together, info on the show is very plentiful ,it even re aired in 2009-10 on THIS TV's cookie jar toon block. The current distributor DHX has been contacted but state "Unfortunately, since the show did not air on any of our networks, we are unable to help you with your request." So far all I can find are a wikipedia entry listing alot of info and full episode posting and descriptions, a YouTube link to the english theme and another with s full episode in french. Please anyone, help, I NEED this show, I'll pay for it, just help. I feel like I hit a brick wall. Links below.
it looks pretty interesting lol I like the designs a lot. It says on the wiki page that it aired reruns from 2009 to 2010 in the states on the "cookie jar toons" block on "this tv". I would think that's a good place to start as it is the most recent.
I've been in contact with DHX which is what the cookie jar links all lead to and I was given a response of "Thank you for your email. You’ve reached DHX Television, Canadian broadcaster of Family Channel, Family Jr. and CHRGD here in Canada. Unfortunately, since the show did not air on any of our networks, we are unable to help you with your request". I have found the phone number and will be attempting to call today
I know it aired on global when it first aired and this tv in 2009-10, it was around recently so it really irks me that it never seemed to get captured in a year worth of reruns
I just found out that a complete episode of the English dub has been uploaded to YouTube! The uploader has clarified that they don't have any other episodes, but still, awesome! youtu.be/mRP1CvRc7s8
Cinar's library is owned by WildBrain (formerly known as DHX Media). Fans of this show should make their interest in a re-release known. WildBrain Spark, their YouTube MCN, distributes a large amount of their catalogue for free. WildBrain has also partnered with Encore+, a YouTube channel that officially streams old Canadian productions.
