I felt that I need to bring this up again because I think it's something worth searching for. Back in 1990's the term "McWorld" was used as a campaign for different contests and promotions. However, I am not talking about that. I am talking about the 2008 Mcdonald's Virtual World game McWorld. McWorld, from what I recall and have seen, a game where you go to certain locations, talking to NPCs, making your own treehouse, or getting clothing for your avatar or as Mcdonald's called them, "mPals". You could also buy accessories for your treehouse. It can be bought with coins or with codes that you can obtain from Happy Meal toys released from that era. Such as Power Rangers, iCarly, Transformers, Bakugan, Ben 10, Batman, and Kung Fu Panda just to name a few. This game was shut down in early 2014 to make way for McWorld's new replacement, McPlay. The only things that survive of McWorld are the codes in the Happy Meal toys, videos of the game, and the link vw.happymeal.com/en_US/ I don't think it's likely to ever fully restore this 2000's game, since it was made for online, and I doubt many people feel like making a rewritten version for McWorld. It's still fascinating anyways. Here is some promotional art and some screenshots of the game.
Okay, so if you plan on viewing the page on the Wayback Machine in it's full glory, I would recommend using Adobe Shockwave, because it seems that is what it uses to run the page.
I remember this so much. It was so cool going to McDonald’s and getting a ton of codes to enter in online. I know there was a promotional game where you could design a skateboard, print it out, and attach it to one of the Justice League toy skateboards you would get in your Happy Meal at the time. I remember its closure in 2014 and logging on for the last time.
There was also a Burger King one called "Club BK", and it was set on a planet shaped like a whale. Each toy from BK had a code stamped on it, and that code would unlock posters, costumes, and decorations for your avatar and your hideout space. I remember getting all the codes from when the toys from the movies Hop and Thor came out and I got a drum set and a Loki costume xD

I also remember there was a site back in 2011 where you could generate codes for McWorld that actually worked. I remember hitting the jackpot with all the Shrek and Star Wars stuff lol

I kind of remember that version, but not much about it...
