From March to June 2004, before the "Toon City" era came around, Cartoon Network started airing these promos where a character from a Cartoon Network show would substitute another character from that show from a different Cartoon Network show, thus hilarity would ensue during these promos (Example: Marvin zaps Rolf (from Ed, Edd n Eddy) with his ray gun, thus turning him into dust).
Afterwards, it then goes to a background with the right character's head, but with different bodies, until it gets to the right one (Example: Edd), then the substitute's head in different bodies like the character that got replaced earlier (Example: Marvin the Martian). Afterwards, it goes to the 1992-2004 Cartoon Network logo, but with the word "Network" replaced with a different name, then the word "Substitutes" is replaced with another word, then changes to the right word, which I mentioned. While this happens, an announcer then says "There's only one (add right character here), there's only one (add substitute character here), and they're only on Cartoon Network. Accept no substitutes."
So far, "The Ed Planet", which has Marvin (from Duck Dodgers) substituting Edd (Double D) has been already found in both English and Spanish, and one where the Mayor (from The Powerpuff Girls) substituting Numbuh 2 has already been found in Spanish, but the English version has yet to be found.
