PAC man cereal was a cereal produced in the 1980s by General Mills. It began production in 1983 and lasted until 1988. Just like other cereals it had commercials produced and you can find these online but one in particular is lost and is actually pretty interesting. Sometime from 1983-1984 they had a cgi commercial for the cereal which is currently lost: I checked Reuploads not it but I can’t find it. The only evidence I found about its existence is in this cgi sampler tape by magi synthavision which gives us clips of the commercial youtu.be/Ivk_LPQP6Ag?si=YDhhjdxEMuy1dfPH . The only way we can find it is either find the people who worked on it or just look though old vhs tapes and hope we are lucky
Someone on the lmw discord server says they remember seeing it on a 80s commercial compilation so it may be out there in YouTube already. Unfortunately they couldn’t help me any further as they watched this back 8 years ago on their dad’s account so they probably cant search for it on their watch history. This can be a new lead so if you find it in a commercial compilation please inform me
A snippet of it appears in this 11 year old video at 0:33 seconds. Maybe that can lead us somewhere?
This is just clipped from MAGI's 1984 Synthavision reel, which was uploaded on YouTube in 2009.
After looking at it, I'm pretty sure there isn't anything else to find visually, we're just missing the audio. The reel includes the full versions of each example, this isn't any different. It's just a short commercial.
