I decided to put it on the off-topic side as the show isn't really lost it so seems in either its original German or English unless there is some lost pilot that no one's ever seen. This is about an INCREDIBLY obscure 2004 animated show from Germany that I just found out about through the Wikipedia article on Wang Film Productions(specifically their Hong Kong-based subsidiary called Hong Guang Animation): Altair in Starland
There seems to be NO information I can find on this show anywhere outside of a few websites listing off the premise as well as a Latin Spanish dub done in Venezuela. It's like this weird nonexistent show that you made up in your weird dreams, except it's a real show. The page about the Latin Spanish dub claims that it's based on some Franco-Belgian comic, but to my knowledge I had searched for a French dub of this show before I found that page & I have found nothing of the sort for a French or Flemish(Belgian Dutch) dub ANYWHERE online. In fact, aside from supposed airings on some German channel known as Fix And Foxi(based on a German franchise of the same name), I can't seem to find information on when or where it aired. It allegedly originally aired in 2004 & was produced in 2003, but what channel in Germany it was on during that time period is a mystery. Don't even get me started on the English dub & where that could've aired because there is NO INFORMATION on the English dub anywhere aside from MAYBE the cast. MAYBE.
Also, IDK why but I think that finding out about this show made the possibility of that mysterious Australian Doremi dub some obscure Western European cartoon just a bit more possible.

Well, either that or the title of the original comic was different. I used Google Translate for the French & Dutch translations of the title as well as a Russian translation, in case dubs of the show in those languages exist. So far, no luck.
EDIT: Ok, so apparently the comic books had the same name according to the article for the Latin Spanish dub(which, before you ask, DOES exist). If so, then there seems to be no record of it online... either that or it doesn't exist. There also seems to be some unconfirmed Slovene dub of sorts called Altair v Zvezdolandiji, with these screenshots & this page being the only known proof out there. A Slovak dub seems to exist though if this Vimeo video is to be believed: vimeo.com/395720880

Ok, so I went through 2 French-language Wikipedia articles for Job & Derib, the 2 comic book artists that were claimed by the Dobaje page to be the original creators of this alleged comic book series. What did I find?
So presumably either the original comics don't exist OR the actual creators of said comic book series are different, much lesser known people. I haven't watched any episodes yet, so I have no idea on who did what on this show other than Wang Film's Hong Kong subsidiary doing animation for this show.

So it looks like Ted Sieger is the creator of the show according to this Vimeo upload of the 1st episode. Bizarrely he doesn't seem to have been credited on some sites for this, such as The Movie Database. He did make some books as shown on Abebooks, so this show being based on some ultra obscure comic book series he didn't show to the public all that often could be a possibility.
crowdfunding $30. I should also point out the DVD will only cover 5-6 episodes and we will still need to find the rest. but it does give us some names.
