Hi, I’m LoboQueso and I’m new to this community.
Soyuzkino produced a Stop Motion short called The End of Play in the 1930s. It was about a collection of toys attempting to survive in a bucket on the farm, only to perish encased in ice.
The characters in the short, such as Volodya the Tin Fish, were inspirations for the primary theme of Toy Story's characters (which it was influenced by), as Buzz finds he's a toy, just like Volodya was a tin fish.
The sole information on that short came from Stand By For Mind Control's page on Toy Story and its influence.
