"The Three Stooges" Animated Pilot (2015)

Hi all,
I’ve been wondering about this piece of media for a while ever since I stumbled upon its existence in The Three Stooges’ Wikipedia page, but I had never decided to look up its status as lost media.
A while back, in June of 2015, news outlets began reporting about an new animated series based on The Three Stooges, with Titmouse at the helm of production, led by Christy Karacas of Superjail! and Ballmastrz: 9009 fame, and distributon by CAKE, with assistance from C3 Entertainment, the current rights holders of The Three Stooges. The show would’ve consisted of 52 11-minute episodes, and a pilot was reportedly in development. The show to be presented to potential partners at Annecy of that year, and the pilot to be officially presented at Licensing International Merchandiser's Association Industry (LIMA) later as well. News outlets were also given this promotional image alongside their articles.
And that is where the story ends.
Obviously, this show has not released yet. And I doubt it will be released. But there is no confirmation of that. In fact, this is the only piece of news to ever be released about its project. I can’t find any information that project was involved with Annecy or LIMA any year, much less 2015.
Three questions remain:
- Was the pilot ever even finished?
- Was anything, outside of the information provided in the articles, of the show/pilot shown off?
- Has Christy Karacas/anyone involved said anything about this project?
Any help, even if it be that this project had been mentioned outside of the actual day the news released (June 8, 2015), would be much appreciated.
