Taren on the Migic Cauldron G rated cut of Black Cauldron

In 1990 disney rereleased black cauldron back into theaters under a new title Taren and the magic cauldron editing it to a G rating.  After its rerelease in theaters that cut has never been seen again. Only trailers and tv spots on youtube and movie posters and newspaper ads.  Has anyone ever found a print of this version?  Anyone go see it in theatres in 1990?
