What is your “I didn’t care for The Godfather.”

Helluva boss. Not the entire show in general, but I just feel it’s way too inconsistent. Some episodes are amazing, most are okay or mediocre, some are awful, and one of them are so trash, they don’t even deserve a mention, as that would be more respect than that episode will ever deserve.

The biggest problem with it is that is just… doesn’t know what it wants to be. Does it want to be an episodic series about a group of imps from hell going to earth and killing targets at a clients request, or a romantic drama/sequential story, akin to The Owl House or Amphibia?

I feel like this problem could have at least been somewhat remedied if they did most of the episodic assassination stuff in the first season, and in season 2 onward they go into the more plot-heavy territory.

I could go on and on for hours, and I’d be happy to do so, but I’ll leave it at this for now.

Yeah. The show does also have a lot of questionable, if not outright horrible writing decisions, and tonal whiplashes. I also really don’t like blitzo tbh. I forgot to mention these in the original post I made here.

How many episodes of the original Titans did you see just out of curiosity? Cause I could see you cringing if you saw some of the more comedic ones.

 I actually got on more with the live-action Death Note film then the anime. 

well that's kind of inevitable with a character like him, though in the series he was called Slade.

Robin annoys me a lot in TTG though I can't recall him annoying me in the original series, but it has admittedly been a decade since i've seen it so maybe I won't like him as much upon rewatch.

All of the Ghibli films, for much of the same reason as to why Peter didn't like The Godfather. I just couldn't get into them, though that's not to say that I don't appreciate the heart and hard work poured into these films, it's just that I myself couldn't get into them.

I hope I can find a time where I can watch most of them and give them another try, maybe on Christmas break.
