Hello!
Sometime around 2012/2013, I was watching the newest episode of South Park on Comedy Central, me and my sister love South Park so we made sure to watch every episode as it aired. At this time, after the new episode of South Park, they'd air the newest episode of Key and Peele right after. Sometimes we watched it and we decided to watch it this time. As me and her were watching one of the Key and Peele skits, some form of distortion/glitching appeared on screen during the skit, then it completely shifted into what I assume to be a Halo 4 advertisement. I remember this because it looked as if they intentionally edited in some kind of special transition effect into the Key and Peele episode to smoothly move from the episode into the commercial. I had never seen an commercial do something like this before.
Me and my sister both thought it was odd, but really cool. I even remember telling my dad about it.
I'm not completely sure it was Halo 4. I remember it looking like a Halo game to me, but I'm not a Halo fan, so I could've misidentified it. I know that the commercial contained videos games. I think it was syfy first person shooter game. iirc during this time Taco Bell was doing an ad campaign because they were giving away a free Xbox or PS4, and those ads contained alot of clips of video games, so it could be that. It also could've been a PS4 advertisement.
Also the transition may not have been during a skit, it could've been during the segments between skits where it's simply Key and Peele bantering. I wish I could remember which episodes of South Park and Key and Peele I was watching that night, but I mainly remember the advertisement itself.
I'd love to know if anybody else remembers this? Since it aired right after a brand new South Park episode, I know there's got to be at least a couple people who also saw it. I haven't even been able to find documentation of this advertisement/commercial even existing.
