On January 30th 2003, Virgin Megastore opened its first store in Kuwait at Marina Mall, and I remember briefly seeing a short article in a local newspaper after the opening where it showed some photos of the event, and Richard Branson himself was there as well as Lebanese singer, Elissa. What's interesting was that I came across 2 photos that showed Branson and Elissa at the event on a stock photo website called, Alamy, but a few months ago, those photos vanished. Now I'm wondering what other photos or video footage could be out there of this particular grand opening.
I apologize in advance if this doesn't qualify as "lost media", but I think there's an argument to be made that even those photos on Alamy could qualify as lost media in and of itself, but I personally want to uncover some photos or video footage about the store since that location downsized in the late 2000s and then closed down in 2012.
