I don't know if this helps anyone in any way, but I was browsing the wiki and I found this article for the lost FMVs from the 3DO port of DOOM.
I searched around to see if anyone had mentioned it but I didn't find anything. I strongly suspect the actor in those FMVs is Jerry Rector. I recognised him from another old video game I played, pictured here and here.
Someone more interested in the topic than me might be able to get some use of out this information.
