Someone already made a thread about this back in 2016 but I'm kind of puzzled that it went nowhere or was even on the Lost Media Wiki site because I think it's obvious that there is some weight to this being an actual extended theme song that went unused.
Has anyone managed to contact any of the staff about it? I know What's In Your Head Podcast did interview Patric Caird and other Eds' alumni but I don't think there was any mention of the original full theme song (though I may have missed something, I'll need to check it again)

What would result in a real search is more Ed Edd Eddy fanart made by Rebbeca Sugar.
I have never heard of such a thing. There was actually a SHORTENED version of it (and most other Cartoon Network themes) that aired maybe around ten years ago during reruns. I have a recording somewhere.
These extended theme songs are such weird cases to me! I think most recent cartoon shows (since the 90s) have had an extended main title theme produced for promotional reasons. Many recent shows have released them easily through YouTube videos, but these earlier shows are much harder to come by. CatDog was a bit of a fluke.
Patric Caird probably still has the master for it. I don't feel like he would just bring it up during a random podcast. You could ask him politely about it, if you knew where to get to him.

After listening to the reconstruction, yes, there are several parts not available cleanly. This reminds me of the fact that a variant of the ending credits exists for some episodes (I don't remember which) that only includes the piano and brass section (whistling can only be faintly heard, since it was probably recorded onto its own track).
I almost think there should be an Ed, Edd n Eddy miscellaneous lost media megathread at this point. It's all really small stuff, but there's so much of it.
