Hi! So, I'm new to the lost media search and I figure I'd throw my own experience into the ring of something that I was able to find easily on Google when I was younger, but now I can't find it at all. I remember when I was a kid (around maybe 2008-2012), I searched up SpongeBob plushes on Google and came upon a flyer that, to my recollection, was an advertisement for an absolutely MASSIVE SpongeBob plush that you could enter to win in a contest. I remember wanting that SpongeBob plush so badly. It was the biggest SpongeBob plush that I'd ever seen, and I seem to remember there was even a young kid in the advertisement for scale. Unfortunately, I cannot find that advertisement anymore, which is pretty much the main reason I joined here.
As it turns out, such a plush itself does indeed exist in some form, but there's actually two pictures from two different sources, and I'm unsure whether or not it's supposed to be the same plush or not (though they do look very similar to my recollection). The first picture is of from a person on Reddit that said they got the plush for only $8 at their local thrift store, and the second is from a site called varagesale.com that claims this particular SpongeBob plush was used as a display in certain Target stores, and it has since sold out.

However, I do not think either of these are the contest plush, as I remember the plush having more bulged-out eyes (kind of like Colorbok SpongeBob plushes), and a mouth that actually had depth and a top lip, not a stitched-on mouth patch, but that could just be a false memory. I doubt the plush itself would be considered lost, as it was an exclusive contest prize and there was probably only one ever made, but the advertisment for the contest plush is, as far as I know, completely lost.
