I am sorry if i annoy anyone by talking about this again, i just thought that i should make this topic into it's own thread for more visibleity, the following is a copy-paste of a previous post about the channel that i wrote becasue basically no new material has been found since it's writing.

So im gonna quick tell y'all a story
The year is 1998, the wild west of what was post-communist hungarian television is starting to fade already, but one of the last low-budget tv channels of the pre-internet era manages to start,and it was this, Joker Tv.
So almost NOTHING is currently really known about this channel, the only good sources on it are a couple of local newspaper coverage, mentions on sites based on satelite tv, and some RECENTLY discovered old forum posts from the time period this channel aired.
What WAS that time period?
Only 34 DAYS!
Between October 17th and November 20th of 1998
What i discovered during my research?,here is some of it in short bulletpoints:
-At the start ONLY phone based game shows would air probably because of the huge lack of shows.
-After around 10 days ,actual shows finally started popping up, reportedly a news segment, music videos, and local football matches, these are the only actually confirmed ones because...
-According to the newspapers, magazin style shows and documentary films are also supposed to be aired on the channel, but as of right now a amature source needs to comfirm this
-Hungarian youtuber "Spaceninja88" aka "Visor" is the only person recorded on video who "supposedly" managed to watch the channel in the short time period, he praised a show on there for it's quality called "Lucky coin" which is a flipper arcade game based phone game show, but his account is pretty unrealible because already in the time when the video was recoreded(2013) his memory's were incredibly foggy, i did try to ask him personally about this, but he never anwsered
-The main attraction of the channel at the time was the local football matches, because these were licensed from the "MLSZ" (aka the Hungarian Football Federation) although the exect details of the deal are confusing at best, but according to the forum posts, matches did air on the channel and it was obviously the most popular offerings of the channel, because these matches didn't air elsewhere in the entire country.
-The death of the channel was basically the fact that it was an illegal channel, yep they didn't file paperworks about the launch of the channel to the "ORTT"(now known as NHMM basically the FCC of hungary), and this caused the channel that was already near impossible to reach(it was on the amos-2 satelite and cable tv,and it was riported a LOT that the channel even with this limited reach is basically unavaliable to almost everywhere in the country due to the fact that no cable provider could legally transmit the channel to homes) to shut down in 1998.11.20
I know,this was a lot, but yea even with that much, outside of the logo no PICTURES and VIDEOS of the channel were ever found, and i think it's almost impossible anything is ever going to be found, but i still wanted to share this with you guys because for me this media is just incredible.
