I meant to post about this on here earlier, shortly after Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon was released, but better late than never I guess.
So, I don't know if anyone is aware, but the Armored Core series has some lost media. Every Armored Core game released on consoles can be easily accessed through emulation, but there is a spin-off series of mobile games that appear to be almost entirely lost. There is at least one trailer for Armored Core Mobile 3 and a bit of gameplay footage out there. These titles were available exclusively in Japan, but some sort of American localization was planned. I have no clue how far those plans got. What I find interesting about these mobile games is that they appear to try their best to replicate the console experience of playing these games. I love stuff like this. Games being ported to hardware they have no business being on is something that fascinates me.
I realize that I likely will never get to play these games in English (I have studied some Japanese in high school and university, but I am rusty), but I'd love to see more of these games somehow. Here's a full list of them with links to their old official web pages via the Wayback Machine.

The Lost Armored Core Anime
I'll be including this as a bonus, as it's also quite interesting. Armored Core: Fort Tower Song is a canceled OVA that appeared to be somewhat of a loose adaptation of the game Last Raven. It would follow a character named Sparrow, but not much is known beyond that. There is a teaser video (shown below) that combines what appears to be concept sketches and footage from the opening cutscene of Last Raven. I have no clue how far it got into production, but I believe it was officially canceled in 2011. It would be nice to get some more details on this production.
Anyway, I hope to perhaps bring a bit more attention to these pieces of lost media. I don't have any expectations of anything getting found any time soon, especially with the language barrier, but I hope this piqued your interest a bit. I'm just an Armored Core nut and love lost media. Thanks for taking the time to read through!
