A while ago, i was listening to a YouTuber that talks about lesser known lost media. One caught my attention because it is a very well known meme that most of you have probably seen before. It's the "Yup, This is going in my cringe compilation!" Shrek meme. Apparently, The photo's origins are from a Sony camera ad that had Shrek in it. I have not yet heard about any updates regarding this lost ad. Do any of you guys have any more info on this case?

It's most likely that it was a rendered still either used or intended to be used in a print ad.
EDIT: And I believe the brand is HP. You can find various Shrek HP commercials from the mid 00s so that all lines up.
