Unknown story app with bird characters and "The Spoos"?

Some time in 2015 or so, one of the iPads at school had an app that was basically an animated, voice-acted picture book with numerous songs, and the main characters were a couple of birds. I don't remember what the plot was, but there's a scene that was almost certainly not relevant to the plot, which was some weird song starring "The Spoos".![]()

To my recollection, their number appeared around the middle of the whole thing, and the Spoos themselves were floating amoeba-like creatures whose song went at around 100 BPM and featured some guitars. They sung all about themselves against an animated magenta and black background while an ethereal "SPOOS" would appear sporadically. Unlike the rest of the app, this was FMV, thus going at a lower frame rate compared to everything else. I'm not even entirely sure if this was actually in the same app, given how radically different and out-of-place it is.
I also recall that the closing song, itself kind of an award-bait song, featured the word "altars", and went at around 90 BPM. I'm pretty sure it was in E or A major, but it's been forever since I've experienced this app.
