During the height of the East Coast-West Coast feud of the 90's, Tha Dogg Pound were out in New York shooting the video for their song "New York, New York" when apparently the Notorious B.I.G. called into Hot 97 and told Funkmaster Flex that Tha Dogg Pound and Snoop Dogg were in New York shooting a video and telling Brooklyn to "stand up". According to Snoop they thought that Biggie was telling people to show love to them but what happened was that Tha Dogg Pound's trailer got shot up by unknown assailants which led to the infamous knocking down New York's skyscrapers in the "New York, New York" video in response to the incident. The story has been told many times by Snoop Dogg, Daz, Kurupt and others that were affiliated with Death Row at the time. The event was even referenced in an unreleased song called "NY 87" so my question is is it possible that there could be a recording of Biggie calling into Hot 97 I'm sure the radio station would have a recording of it right? So far there has not been any audio that has surfaced and there doesn't really seem to be any interest by anyone to find it. Rumors say that Diddy had the audio buried and that's why there's no release
