So I was scrolling through the Mark Goodson fandom and was peaking in the "Cancelled Merchandise" category and there was a lot of unsourced claims on various shows like Double Dare (the one bizarre clue game hosted by Alex Trebek), What's My Line?, Tattletales, Beat The Clock and Play Your Hunch, were gonna have DVD games based on them released by the Australian based Imagination Entertainment sometime in the late 2000s but "it was not released to the public at all" or "was never made nor released to the public". To Tell The Truth also has a mention on an unreleased DVD game made by Imagination and only it's cover art has surfaced to prove it's existence (and I made a LMW article and YouTube short on the topic). So I went searching on google for any hint or any fragment of information on any of the unreleased games said by the unsourced text on the fandom stating that "it was not released to the public at all". Then, I found what I think is something that not only peaked my curiosity, but something that blows the case wide open on not only the unreleased To Tell The Truth DVD game, but also the various titles I mentioned earlier. On The Game Show Forum is a thread on "Unreleased Imagination game show DVD game titles" from February 2011 and the user "MikeK" said at the top of the thread "This afternoon, I received Imagination's Ultimate DVD Game Collection after redeeming quite a few Oodles at GSN's web site. The collection itself has 4 titles which were never sold individually--Beat the Clock (a mix of trivia and stunts for $1,000,000; how authentic), To Tell the Truth (packaging has some screengrabs from the O'Hurley version), Family Feud Movie Edition, and In Order to Win, which looks similar to The Family Channel's interactive game Shuffle. On the reverse of the BtC and TTTT cases, there are mentions to look for other classic game show titles--Double Dare, What's My Line?, Tattletales, and Play Your Hunch. Apparently Imagination had some very lofty goals, at least before most of their titles hit the clearance bin and stores like Big Lots...". I tried looking through Imagination's website through the wayback machine but it required flash and that was basically a dead end. So it seems that not only did To Tell The Truth make it to the burned-on-a-disc stage, but also Beat The Clock made it there too. The thread also talks about a DVD game based on the short-lived Temptation: The All New Sale Of The Century that seems to be as obscure as the previous titles mentioned. Anyone else has any information on these unreleased titles?
