I've had this topic picking at the back of my mind for years and figured I'd make an account to bring it up.
There was a tutorial/promotional video made for the online chatroom site Worlize sometime in the early 2010's. I believe the game initially went online ~2010, but the earliest I would have seen this video is ~2012-2013.
A bit of background - Worlize was a chatroom site that was entirely user generated, where the site would host chatrooms made from custom images uploaded to the site, alongside widgets and minigames you could insert into the world. Players could upload images or gifs as their own avatars, as well as props to drag around in rooms. I believe the game announced its closure in the late 2010's but didn't fully shut down until the early-mid covid pandemic. The game was semi-obscure, i believe it peaked at around 1000+ users online at the same time, being popular with fans of other chatroom sites and games that had gone defunct during its lifetime. Around it's closure, I don't think it frequently broke more than 15 or so. There's plenty of screenshots online of Worlize and the lesser-used Worlize forums, but I haven't been able to find the one piece of Worlize media that remains in my mind the most.
The video in question was most likely called Welcome to Worlize, but could have been called anything similar. It was embedded in the default home world via a Youtube player, and I believe at some point late in the site's run the Youtube player had broke and was never fixed, but the video was most likely available via the most likely unlisted Youtube video at that point. The video was about two of the game's default avatars, a small blob with white eyes. I believe one of them was orange and the other was blue. They were portrayed by two male voices who didn't emote too much, they remained pretty casual throughout the whole thing. I think the one was introducing the other to the site, showing off some of the different pre-made avatars and features. I vividly remember at one point they were in a magical forest of some sort, and that at some point the two default avatars were in a grassy field with a blue sky similar to that one famous Windows background, but not exact. I haven't watched this video in full since most likely the mid 2010s, so some specifics may be a bit off. I tried to put down any specifics I remembered.
I know at one point there was a Discord server for members of the chatroom site where some people could have better descriptions, but I haven't been in it in around 5 years at least, it most likely doesn't even exist anymore to be honest. The community had a lot of drama in the later part of its life especially. I still know a few people from the site but I'm not sure if its a comfortable conversation for any of them. Most of us, including me, were pretty young at the time anyway.
At the end of the day I'm still wondering if anyone else remembers more details on this video or had it saved in some old Youtube playlist or something. I've tried searching Youtube for the video multiple times throughout the years but haven't found anything, which is why I feel it's most likely unlisted or even privated now.
