To start this thread off, just wanna say how much I adore Point N' Clicks. it's a genre that has fallen lost to time, due to people considering them as outdated and boring. Frankly I beg to differ. Point N' Clicks have some of the best puzzles and stories, and if done right, can be some of the most creative games out there to play.
This is where we segway into the lost media side of things...
Say hello to "Curly's Adventure". Its a lost Point N' Click Adventure game that was being developed by Sylum Entertainment, and published by Epic games (Yes, that Epic games.). The game started development in 95' and was put through development hell till 99' when it was sadly axed.
It stars the titular Curly as he's trapped inside a mental institution with other subjects, and slowly finds out they're all lab-rats in a mad scientist's evil plan. Very much the premise to an episode of Looney Tunes, or to a Nicktoons series. It had hand drawn animation and real-time 3D backgrounds. Visually for a late 90s point n' click, the game was pretty impressive.
Nothing else is really on this game, other than a Demo resurfacing on internet archive, few interviews with the devs, and the game's website still active using the Wayback machine. I did find a YouTube video from one of the original developers who worked on the game, and commented asking if they'd like to be interviewed so I could find out more about the project. Fingers crossed we hear from them soon.
I don't even know where to begin with this, but wow is this one interesting case. Lemme know if this is something you guys would like to help me find. I'd love to learn more about this.
